In truth, they are,
apart from me, the only persons who make trumpets with historical technics
all around the world. There is only one more in Bamberg -Germany-, but he
refused to be listed here. Maybe you know the name of other natural trumpet makers, but be sure they don't work with only historical technics. They made trumpets with industrial tubes and sppining lathes for bells -mass produced-. This techniques affect so much to the sound and playability of the instruments. This fact don't means that those are bad trumpets (nor makers), but quality of sound and playing propierties are not as good as with a real historical trumpet. If I forget to include any historical trumpet maker, please let me know. |
